This is quite simply a fantastic achievement and one which further cements Ashley's reputation as one of the very best players currently playing within the US Collegiate system.
For the College Sport USA Program to have produced a player of this caliber for the University of Tulsa speaks volumes for the hard work and dedication of our recruiting staff.
Ashley was a member of the Aberdeen FC Youth Academy in Scotland before embarking upon his new career in the States. It looks very likely that he is on track to fulfil his promise of progressing into the professional game when he graduates in May 2011.
The very fact that he is being mentioned as a potential Herman Trophy Winner means that he is currently considered one of the top prospects in the American game.
