Scottish Schools FA Honour James Stevensons Achievements in the USA

September 18th 2010 -

College Sport USA's James Stevenson, now of Northern Illinois University, has seen recognition for his early success at NIU by being named on the College Soccer News, Top 100 Freshmen to watch list.

This remarkable achievement did not go un-noticed by the Scottish Schools FA who capped James at U-18 National Team level in 2008/09.

James played his part in the Centenary Shield Tournament against the four home nations & the Republic of Ireland.

The fact that James was capped by his country played a significant part in our ability to attract the attention of several top NCAA universities.

Northern Illinois eventually secured James's signature and beat of some big opponents in the process.
