What made this meeting all the more remarkable was the fact that both Elliot Kelly of Notre Dame College & Matt Kenton of Grandview University were lining up together this time last year with Crowborough FC in southern England.
Both Elliot & Matt have enjoyed a fantastic start to their careers in the United States.
It is certainly a massive coincidence for these good friends to meet up with their respective teams. The fact that it is in the quarter finals of a national tournament is fantatsic achievement for both of them.
Only one of the lads will leave the match with a smile on his face however we at College Sport USA feel very proud to have the lads involved at this level.
College Sport USA's Kenton & Kelly Clash in NAIA Tournament Q-Final
