College Sport USA's David Binnie to lead Stirling Albion First Team against Falkirk FC

College Sport USA's David Binnie will take the step up to 1st Team Coaching duties this evening when he leads Stirling Albion FC against Falkirk FC in the Stirlingshire Cup.

David has been in charge of the clubs U-19/ Reserve Team alongside Graeme Donald for the past 6 seasons and has been responsible for the development of numerous Academy graduates over the years into first team professional football.

The opportunity to lead the first team in competitive action represents a major step in his development as a coach.

Binnie commented "This is an opportunity I am relishing. It will be great to be involved in competitive action with the 1st team against a top flight team such as Falkirk FC. It will be a very difficult match for us and only a top performance will see the team progress into the next round of the Stirlingshire Cup. I will be bringing some of my Academy players into the team this evening and it will be a great expereince for them to test themselves against seasoned professionals. With it being a local derby, I would expect there to be a sizeable crowd tonight. Hopefully our players will relish the opportunity to shine in the circumstances."

The match will take place under the floodlights at Falkirk FC's stadium with a 7pm Kick-Off.
