Following on from the success of our 2010 South African student David Preston, who is currently doing extremely well with Mountain State University, we have devoted our time to identifying the next crop of outstanding South African players.
The department is headed up by Dylan Kerr who himself has over 23 years experience as a top professional player with an array of top British clubs. Dylan is also now involved at the top level of the game in South Africa in a coaching capacity with a 1st Division team.
Sporting Futures Manager David Binnie explained. "Dylan brought together a talented group of players all looking to expand their careers within the United States Collegiate system. It is early days in the process for many of the players on display however the initial impressions from the day certainly suggests that South Africa will become a hotbed of soccer talent."
We will look forward to bringing you further news on developments from our South African department.
