The event allowed College Sport USA an opportunity to view the talent coming through the Just 4 Keepers program and David certainly came away impressed by the standard of goalkeepers on display.
The J4Keepers camp featured over 100 young keepers from the ages of 8 through to 21. The course was staffed by J4 Keepers own experienced and highly qualified coaches who are experts in everything relating to this specialist position.
David Binnie commented - "I was extremely impressed by the origanisation of the course given the large number of young goalies in attendance. I was especially amazed to see keepers from as far afield as South Africa, Slovakia and Ireland. I believe that it reflects the excellent international reputation J4 Keepers is establishing when it comes to specialising in the coaching of goalkeepers."
College Sport USA began our special relationship with Ray Newlands and his company Just 4 Keepers back in July 2009 when we successfully recruited Michael Doran following a glowing recommendation from Ray.
We have now successfully placed three talented J4 Keepers on scholarships in the United States.
Ray Newlands - "The success of our relationship is based upon our ability to identify young keepers and provide them with specialist training before recommending them to David and his team at College Sport USA."
David was able to idenitfy a number of top quality young keepers during his visit to J4K's Oundle School venue, including a top rated young Slovakian Keeper who demonstrated that he has all the attriburtes to have a big future in the game.
We are proud to be associated with an organisation which puts so much work into developing talented young goalkeepers and look forward to working with Ray and his coaches in order to identify and place the next top keepers within the US system.
